We have the plan put together!

We are presenting our ideas today to make sure we have all what we need to make this thing happen and we will be making a start in January!

We have looked into our options of different venues. We have begin to put together some costings with some quality venues. We are also in talks with a Local promotions company to aid with putting on the event in a Town Hall. Also we have spoken with the organisers of a festival and some independent radio to be involved with promotion and possibly getting our bands on the radio or even with a slot on a stage at a festival.

We started this blog. We’ve been keeping records of our progress and decided to keep this online timeline so you can see how we are progressing with this project.

We have approached a local music school about some of their students who have put together bands to put them through this process. We have also talked about using their premises for recording, rehearsals and getting the bands ready to perform.

We have a website …… we will be filling it with pictures and videos as we go through the process of getting new bands ready to release new music.

We have been working hard on concepts and ideas to make this successful and decided that having an amazing launch night could bring this idea into the real world. Instead of it being an online based project we felt that bringing people together to experience a night of music could begin a following for these new bands and generate a real interest in the young musicians.

The launch event will be what we will build up to with each band. What will make each following event more successful is somethings we put in place at each event to get people involved with us.

We will put in place a system where we collect contact details which will enable us to create an interactive element with the audience. We will send the audience members the promotional details of the bands as they are performing. Including a download link to each band’s new single straight to their phones The audience will then have an option to download the original singles which are performed throughout the night. 

We will be counting the downloads of each single and using the numbers to determine a battle-of-the-bands-esque ‘winner’ of the night. 

We will also use this event and the contact information we’ve collected to promote the next launch night with the next 3 bands we have lined up with an aim to repeat this cycle, growing the audience each time. People will be able to buy tickets to the next event at this one.

LiveStartMusic is a project set up to mentor young bands and help them set up the means of writing, recording, releasing and performing their own music masterpieces. We have some fantastic links with local music school a nationally acclaimed festival and can provide all the support needed to turn a group of young people messing around with music into an act that have the infrastructure to market themselves release their own music and with a bit of luck be the next big thing!

We will actively promote these new bands record and release their first single. We will organise a release date and event to promote their single and will offer future support with their musical journeys.
